Today, I am sharing with the conference participants at Universitas Ibn Khaldun Bogor.
ESG stands for Environmental, Social, and Governance, and it refers to a set of criteria and standards that investors and organizations use to evaluate the sustainability and ethical impact of a company or investment. It is closely related to digital transformation in several ways. Effective governance is crucial for the successful implementation of digital transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, risk management, and compliance with regulations. In my presentation, I highlighted that the ESG principles emphasize the importance of strong corporate governance, transparency, and accountability, which are essential for managing the risks and opportunities associated with digital transformation.
The rest of the presentation is about governing personal data. Three reasons why I focused on this: Data proliferation, Data threat and Data law. All these factors contribute to the importance of this talk.
