Governing Artificial Intelligence: Towards An Ethical and Transparent Digital Society

By: Sonny Zulhuda

AI governance has become critically important because we’re at an inflection point where AI capabilities are advancing rapidly while regulatory frameworks lag behind. The window for proactive governance is narrowing as AI systems become more powerful and widely deployed.

Against this backdrop, i share my views on the potential and risks of AI when it intersects with our social and legal life in the 6th International Conference on Law and Reform hosted by a consortium of Indonesian universities led by the Law Faculty, Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang.

Thank you UMM and Dean Prof Tongat for having me at this intellectual event!
